— iij^a-VJtuiii. The Women's Franchue League, at Dunedin, yesterday paeaed a reeoluUon thanking the Hon. J. Macgregor for his efforts in the interests of equal justice to women in introducing the Divorce Bill, and calling on every well-wisher of women ia both Houses, by their vote and influence, to help to place such a beneficial law upon the Statute-took. The appointment of the Sergeant at-Acms was condemned as contrary to the spirit of the Disqualification Act. •
