Mails close for the following places as under, aubjeot to the necessary alterations :— TUESDAY, JUNE 12. For Cheviot and Kaikoura, per Wakatu, at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard's van, 9.5 p.m. train. For Duuedin, per Taviuni, at 11.10 a.m.; late fee letters, at 11.20 a.m. ; guard's van, 12 10 p.m. train. For Dunedin, per Talune, at 11.10 a.m. ; late fee letters, at 11.20 a.m. ; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. JTor Northern Porta, per Rotorua, at 3 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 3.15 p.m. ; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13. For United Kingdom, via Rio (specially addressed, per Riinutaka), per Takapuna, ac 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard's van, 9.5 p.m. train. Registered letters and parcels post parcels, at 5 p.m. Due London July 27th. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America and West Indies (via Sau Francisco), Sandwich Islands, &c, and also for Northern ports of New Zedand, per Takapuna, aa follows :—Ordinary letters, at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; books and newspapers, 7.30 p.m.; money orders, 4 p.m. ; registered letters, 5 p.mi; guard's van, 9.5 p.m. train. Due London July 18th. For Australian Colonies and also for United Kingdom (specially addressed, via Naples), India, China, Japan, &c, &c. per Express and Wairarapa, at 10.30 a.m. ; late fee letters, at 10.40; guard's van, 11 a.m. train. Due London August Ist. FRIDAY, JUNE 15. For Auckland, Suva, and Lovuka, per Taviuni, at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. N.B.—The mails for Cheviot now close Wednesdays, and Saturdays at> 6 a.in., aud Medbury reduced from daily to thrice weekly, viz., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6 a.m. R. JKIRTON, Chief Postmaster.
