Preea Association—By Telegraph—Copyright London, May 11. The Whitsuntide recess will extend until May 16th. May 18. Sir Charles Dilke advises the Government to continue the session for the entire year and pass the Evicted Tenants Bill, also a measure for the disestablishment of the Church in Wales. He also suggests that early in 1895 the Government should introduce a measure limiting the exercise of the veto by the House of Lords and then dissolve. The Irish National League Convention, at Liverpool, resolved to call a National Convention at Dublin for the purpose or healing the feuds of the party.
