SETTLEMENT OF SOUTH AFRICA.
Press Association—By Telegraph-Copyright. London, March 16. It has been decided that the British Government will administer affairs in Matabeland and Mashonaland by means of a Judge and Council, four of the members of the latter body to be nominated by the British South Africa Company, subject to the assent of Lord Bipon. The rights of natives are to be relegated to a Land Commission, the members of which are to be nominated equally by the British Government and the South Africa Company,
