Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations :— MONDAY, MARCH 12. For Akaroa, per Omapere, at 10 a.m. ; late fee letters, 10.15 a.m. ; guard's van, 10.55 a.m. train. For Northern Ports of New Zealand and Westport, per Brunner, at 11.10 a.m. ; late fee letters, 11.20 a.m. ; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14.
For Australian Colonies (except New South Wales and Queensland) via Hobart, per express to connect with Waihora at Port Chalmers, at 10.30 a.m.; late fee letters, 10.40 a.m. ; guard's van on - express at 11 a.m.
For Northern Ports of New Zealand and Australian Colonies ; also United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (specially addressed via Brindisi), India, China, Japan, &a, per Wakatipu, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. This mail will be due in London on Ist May. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21. San Francisco mail. Due in London April 25th. R. KIRTON, Chief Postmaster.
