OTAGO ROWING ASSOCIATIONS REGATTA.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TEL-ORAIf.) DUNEDIN, March 10. The Otago Rowing Association's Regatta came off to-day at Port Chalmers in fine weather. There was a good attendance at first, but it turned out cold, and many left before the final events, the regatta not being concluded till after 7 o'clock. The following are the results :—
Maiden Four-Oared Inrigged Gig —North End B.C. 1, Queen's Drive B.C. 2, Otago R.C. 3. Won easily, the mile and a half taking 6min 58sec. Mile Handicap Sculling Race— McGrath, D.A.8.C., scr, 1; E. Davys, s*ec, 2. Won easily. Time, smin lOsec
Junior Four-oar Inrigged Gig Race ; two miles—North End B.C. 1, Otago R.C. 2, Dunedin B.C. 3. Two others started. A fine finish. Won by two feet. Time, 6min 55sec
Senior Four-oar Inrigged Gig Race ; two miles—Queen's Drive B.C. 1, Otago R.C. 2, Dunedin B.C. 3. Won by three lengths. Time, Bmin 40sec
Junior Pairs; one mile and a half—North End B.C. 1, Otago R.C. 2, Queen's Drive RC. 3. Won by two lengths. Time, 6min 58sec
Junior Double Sculling Race ; one mile—* Dunedin B.C. 1, Otago R.C. 2 and 5. Senior Pairs; one mile and a half—Queen's Drive 1, Otago RC. 2; Dunedin B.C. 3.
