FALSTAFF'S RAGGED REGIMENT.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PKBSS. Sir,—"Search Lights" last week made a huge blunder. '• FalstaiFa ragged regiment , ' did not include Mouldy, Bullcaif, or Shallow. Shallow w*3 the local justice, aud was charged with the duty of finding men to join Falstaffs company. On arrival at Shallow's house Falstaff Bays, " Have you provided mc here half-a-dozen of sufficient men. , ' Mouldy and Bullcaif got off service by bribing Falstaff through liardolph, who tells the latter that he has " three pounds to release Mouldy and Bullcaif," and Falstaff accordingly released them, in spite of Shallow's remonstrances that they were the '•likeliest men."—Henry IV., part ii., act iii., scene ii.—Yours, &c., Student.
