Many people in Christchurch, and indeed fe New Zealand generally (says our London correspondent) will be interested and gratified to learn that Mr Forbes, the exCurator of the Chrietchurch Museum, whom ■ome people regard as having been rather fcngraciously treated in New Zealand, has received the appointment as Curator of the Liverpool Museum, which is only second in England to the British Museum in importance.
