Davies and Millidge and Muntz. SERIOUS CHARGES. Bbisbank, March 7. At the Weelejtn Conference the Rev. Mr Payne made serious charges against the whites residing in the far north. He alleged that the blacks were shot down as a nuisance, causing them to flee to parts where food was scarce, the result being a horrible condition of cannibalism. TASMANIAN POLITICS. Kobart, March 7. Sir E. C. Braddon, leader of the Opposition, has given notice to mote that the financial proposals of the Government are unsatisfactory. The debate opens to-day.
