A NOTABLE FETE.
A most elaborate fete, so far as variety «f amusements is concerned, will take place Kmorrow in the grounds of the Hospital. '- Hie fete is projected in aid of the Nuraes' Some Fund, and as the programme is most attractive there should be a large attendee. The Garrison Band will play eelecJttoss of music on the lawn during the aftersoon, and the visitors will have no cause to suripkin of lack of amusements. The fine honoured Punch and Judy wili be in Attendance. The local rival of Albert Chevalier will sing the latest and most sosnlar coster songs, and that ill-treated bay Aunt Sally will hold a levee during tbe afternoon. Then for the special ielectation of those who desire to hive their destiny read a palmistry tent has been provided, where fortunes will be lead with despatch and accuracy. Mr gesger will have his Temple of Magic on die ground, and anyone desirous of practising for the Rifle Association meeting can do so ia the shooting gallery. The drama is by no means to be neglected, as a French - pantomime will be performed at intervals. As tbe Government give a subsidy for all money collected, visitors will have the donb.9 pleasure of enjoying a good time, sad contributing towards a worthy object.
