The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Benevolent Lodge L0.0.F.,M.U., wu held on Monday evening, H.G. Bro. R. Billens presidiug. At the conclusion of the ordinary routine business the balance-sheet and auditor* report was received and adopted. The receipts for the year amounted to £535 9a lOd, at, i expenditure £280 4s 7d, lea Ting a vrvtlit, Laianue to the benefit fund of £2972 0a 2iL The sick; expenses were much lower ibau usual, only £43 10s sick pay being paid as against £127 and £81 for the I years 1891 and 1892 respectively. Bros. R. Billene, J. Cotton, and J. Handera, P.G.s, were elected delegates to represent the lodge at the annual district meeting.
