Major SoramerviUe hasjreeeived word from the Defence Office, Wellington, to the effect that the supply of ammunition for the coming meeting oi the New £e*land Riflo Auociation was shipped at Melbourne ou bowd the s.a. Rotomahana, which arrived at Port Chalmers yesterday. The camp is to be in charge of Lieut.-Colonel Gordon, the officer commanding the district* Major ssommerville is no* negotiating with tbe Railway Commissioners with a view to getting certain trains to stop during the day opposite the camp, at HilUborough, for the convenience of competitors and others. This was done when the last met ting was held at the site. (PUSSS ASSOCIATION" TKiSG&AM.) WELUNGTON, February 23. The following are the Wellington entries for the Rifle Meeting at Christchurch :— C.P.O. Armsfcruug, P.O.a Williams, Sedgwick and Harria, Lieut. . Kirk, Seaman HoJmes, Gunner Stitt, Messrs Randeil, Wilson, Jury, Oatea, Franoe and Wilkie. Other eatries have nob yet arrived.
