AN EPIDEMIC OF SUICIDE.
A Wellington telegram, states that still another suicide was reported yesterday. In the afternoon the body of an elderly man , named Robert Farness, a carpenter, living in Hopper street, was found in the harbour with a letter in a pocket saying that he —old not face his creditors. There have been three suicides and three attempts in W«——gton in the past few days.
