TO THE EDITOR OF THK PRESS.
Sir, —I would seriously ask eacli of the electors the following question :—Are you in favour of undergoing a further three years'. harassing aud at the same time utterly useless legislation? If so, plump straight for Tanner, the chosen representative of the Prohibition and Revolutionary parties. If, on the other hand, you are men of common sense and wish to _cc local industries flourish and prosperity reign throughout the colony your choice will be Mclntyre. I am aware that many of U3 do not approve ot Mr Mclntyre's views on the education question, but, after all is said and done, that is merely a side issue and must not influence our choice on Tuesday next, which will be between Mclntyre or Tanner—moderation or immoderation. Mr Wilson's chance of election being out of the question altogether, don't throw away your votes on the third candidate.—Yours, &c, LIXWOOD.
