RANGIORA MARKETS.
Tuesday. There was a good attendance and business was fairly brisk. In the yards of Mr W. Buss (associated with the New Zealand Land Association, Limited) prices were. — Fab sheep 18s to 18s 3d, crossbred hoggets lis lOd to 12s, old crossbred owes small percentage of lambs 10s 6d to lis ; cattle, good store steers £6 10s, dry cows £617s 6d to £7 2s 6d, pigs, weaners, 10s to 10a 6d.
Ab bhe North Canterbury Yards there was a fair entry. Sales were held by Messrs A. P. Tutton, Todhunter ana Jbnninos, Pyne and Co., Matson and Co., Miles and Co., W; F. Joynt, and F. C. Tabart. The prices obtained were for fat crossbreds 17s 6d, fat four-tooth wethera 16a 6d, four-tooth shorn wethers 13s od, fat ewes shorn 9s 5(1, four to six-tooth crossbreds 16s 2d, crossbred* wethers 12s 3d, fat lambs 8s 3d to 10s 9d, hoggets 9s to 9s lid, merino ewes with eighty per cent, lambs 12g, merino ewes aud lambs 4s. Pigs— Suckers 5s 9d to 10s 6d, well brod do 12s to 14s, weaners 9s to lis 6d, stores 13s 6d to 16s 6d, baconers £1 10s to £2 15s. Cattle —Yearlinc.B 23s 6d tn 30s, two-year-old heifers £2 15s to £3, fat steers £7 10s to £7 12s 6d, fat cows £6 10a to £6 lbs, line of springers £6 to £8 2* 6d, store cows £1 10s to £3 15s.
Sales in tho Produce Yards were at the Central Yards by Mr W. Boss, at the North Canterbury Yards by Messrs Wilson and Sons, W. P. Joynt, Miles and Co., and the prices were—Sheepskins 2s 6d to 3s 6d, rough fat wool in bags and fadges 5d to 7d, locks aud pieces 2d to 3_d, cbickwheat to 2s 8d bushel, oats 2s 6d, rye Is 9d, potatoes 6s to 7s sa.k, seed do to 7s 9d, beans 2s 10d, peas 3a, bran 00, sharps 8s 6d, flour 16s, do unknown brand, lis to 225.
