The annual tea and public meeting In connection with the Flemington Presby. terian Church took place on Thursday evening, when there was a very large attendance. The tables were supplied by the ladies of the district. At the after* meeting the pastor, the Rev. A. Blake, presided, and addresses were given by the Chairman, the Rev. Ager (the newly* appointed Baptist minister at Aphburton), the Rev. Abernethey of Willowby, and Ensign Wilson of the Salvation Army. The choir, under the leadership of Mr Joan Dunn, with Miss Henderson at the harmonium, sang several anthems, and solos given by the Misses Steel of Aahburr-on.
