The barque Thurso cleared at the Customs on Saturday morning for the Cape, and sailed in the afternoon with a good southwest breeze. She takes a full cargo of wheat.

The Union Company's Rotorua arrived from Wellington on Saturday morning, and returned again in the evening. The s.s. Wareatea, Captain Downie, completed her discharging on Saturday morning, and sailed in the afternoon for Greymouth.

The Shaw, Sarill and Albion Company's direct liner Doric arrived from London, via Wellington, about noon yesterday, aud was berthed at the ocean steamer's wharf.

The 9.S Omapere arrived from Wellington yesterday evening. The s.a. Wakatu arrived from Wellington, via Kaikoura, on Saturday evening, and is advertised to return again this evening. The cargo steamer Hawke's Bay arrived from the Bluff on Saturday evening, aud anchored in the stream, where she remained till yesterday afternoon, when she was berthed at No. 4 wharf. She takes in some 850 tons of coal and a quantity of general cargo, and sails for London direct about Tuesday. Captain Felgate is still in command. Messrs Kinsey and Co. are her agents.
