GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
After the Telegraph Office closed on Saturday morning, the Land Act Amendment Bill, the Tairua Land Bill and the Land for Settlement Act Amendment Bill were committed in a batch. After a protracted sitting the lastnaiaed Bill was reported, and its third reading postponed. The others were put through their final stages, and the House rose at 4.30 a. m.
