WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION T-XEORAM.) WELLINGTON, September 21. The pilot service at the heads has not been paying for some time, and the HArbour Board to-day received a proposal from «J. H. Williams, owner of the tugs Duco and Mana, to Buppiy a service; a committee was appointed to confer with him. The Board also appointed a committee to confer with the City Co-ncil. and a similar committee, which the Chamber of Commerce is to be asked to appoint, as to whether October 25th, Demonstration Day, shall be recognised as a holiday; the Wharves Committee of the Harbour Board has reported againa. the holiday.
