The Daily Telegraph, commenting on the granting of female franchise, states that New Zealand ie entering on a political object lesson which, .no matter what the issue may be, must be to make the world wiser in State craft than before. New Zealand to begin with is, in civilisation, in the very foremost race who, socially, intellectually and politically, have, perhaps, as little to learn from outside aa in the world. It adds, " What do the women of New Zealand -srant the franchise for is the great question. Upon their answer the immediate destiny of New Zealand depends."
