Wool is very firm, owing to the prospect of advanced rates. Home buyers are competing spiritedly. A large parcel of Melbourne wools has been bought for America ab about original prices. The estimated visible American Wpply of wheat is 06,300,000 bushels. The Coptio- pork sold at 4sd. September 21.
The number of bales of ■ wool mfred to date is 214,000. The total available for the sales is bales.
Tb«j qimutity of wheat and flour -float' for the United Kingdom is 2)832,000 quarter-, aud for the Continent 1,264,000.
The English wheat market shows a general advance of 61. The Continental is steady, and the American "aft-hanged.
Tha New Zealand Farmers' CoOperative Association of Cautorbury Wanted, report having -received the following cable message from their J-_don office, under date September
Wheat—3os 3d is oi_ermg for Austrian cargoes for shipment SeptemNr*October.
Wool— There is a brisk demand. Wees are unaltered.
