The s.B. Wakatu arrived from Wellington, via Kaikoura, yesterday morning aud returned again iv the evening, calling at Cheviot ou ihe way up. The three-masted schooner Whangaroa sailed yesterday afternoon for Timaru, getting away with a nice north-east breeze. The ketch Comet sailed yesterday afternoon for New Plymouth with a cargo of produce shipped by Messrs Kaye and Carter. The barque Thurso is getting well down in the water and will sail about the end of the week for Capetown with a cargo of produce. Her outward agents are Messrs Kaye and Carter. From Capetown the barque goes to Mauritius and returns from theuce with a cargo of sugar for Dunedin and Lyttelton.
