STABBING AFFRAY. Sydney, September 20. During a quarrel amoug a number of German sailors ia one of the city hotels oue named Stentzil stabbed another named Reiman to death, and wounded a second. The Conference between the steamship owners and engineers cams to an abrupt termination. The owners contended for ft 15 per ceut, reduction in wages for oue year, but the engineers declined to recommend more than 10 per cent, for a term oi two years.
