ARRIVAL OF THE WAIRARAPA.
(press associatiok telegram.) Bluff, September 8. Arrived—Wairarapa, from Melbourne via Hobart at 7 a.m. She left Melbourne at 4 p.m. on the 2nd, passed Williamstown at 5 p.m., arriving at Hobart at 6 a.m. on the 4th ; sailed at &30 p.m., had Puysegur Point light abeam at 9.45 p.m. on the 7th; passed the Solanders at 11.10 p.m., and arrived as above. Experienced light N.E. winds and fine weather till the 6th, thence fresh S.E. winds and bumpy sea to arrival. Passengers for the Bluff—Mrs Mathieson and child, Miss Hush, Messrs Bradley, Thomson, Quine, East. For Dunedin— Mesdames Bransgrove, Matheson, Kirk, Lowes, Alves, "Wyper, Atkinson and 2 children, Messra Matheson, Johnston, Shirtcliffe, Wilson, Clarke, Worthington, Wilis, McDougall, Sherwood, Robertson, Okines. Ivey, McNeill, Dr. Douglas. For Lyttelcon — Mesdames Keith and fhe children, Leigh, Misses Walton, Fullarton, Messrs Peter, Leigh. For Wellington— Mesdames Lostalon and children, Hamme, Miss Riley, Messrs Birabanm, Richards (2), Knight, Balling, McMenamen, Hamme, Dr. Lostalon. For Auckland—Dr. Darby, Hon. Udal, and seventy-four steerage for all ports.
