From private information received at Lyttelton, it appears that the barques Beechdale, Dee, and Robert Scrafton, which left Lyttelton for the United Kingdom on April 7th, 12th and 29th respectively, arrived Home on the same date as the barques Woodvilleand Willowbank, namely, July 27th. Their arrival was cabled to Sydney, but through an oversight was not sent on to New Zealand.

The Spanish training-ship Nautilus was floated out of dock yesterday morning and taken back to her moorings. She has been thoroughly cleaned and painted. During her stay iv dock she was visited by a large number of people ; shipbuilders and yachtsmen in particular were much struct with her beautifully fine Unes below the waterline.
