(PSE3S ASSOCTATIOjr TELKGKAMS.) NAPIER, July 25. A fetation band named Daniel Corkhill, was drowned at a ford of the Mo*whanga River, near the settlement of that name. "A. Tramp, Esq.," of the New Zealand was nearly drowned at tie same place aome time ago. AUCKLAND, Jnly 25. A tourist named E. Herbert, of Melbourne, while visiting the sights at Whakarewarewa and Botorua without a guide, suddenly went through the ground up to bis knee in scalding water, the skin coming off his leg in an inetani. . He was dragged out by another tourist and is being brought to Auckland, ■
