Tuesday, July 25. (Before J. T. Brice and T. Dyer, Esqrs., J.P.'s.) Dbuxkexksss.—William Machin pleaded guilty to this charge. Sergeant Rutland said the defendant was suffering greatly from the effects of drink, and suggested that he should be remanded for a week or % fortnight for medical treatment. Fined ss, or in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. Labckxy.—Herbert Turner was charged with the larceny of of a flask cf brandy value 2a, from the British Hotel, Lytteltoo. The evidence of the barmaid, the Hcensse and hie son was tb the effect that the accused put the flash in his pocket in the bar. It was taken from him, and he wag given in charge. Accused said the barmaid gave him the flask. Fined 20s, or in default fourteen days , imprisonment.
