The annual mooting of the Cuntetbtp branch of the New Zealand Jour-Ml*!*" Institute was held last evening. There wm* fairly good attendance of members, w Chairman of the branch, Mr G. 'R. The following resolutions were uhrs'" mously passed;—" That this branch d*w» to protest against important meetings of Mi* Council having been hold without tho w* representatives being consulted, as provl«by the Constitution j that this branch desires to express its admiration of the si*!j» taken by Mr R. A.
