ASHBURTON STOOK MARKET.

A little over 6000 sheep were yarded at Ashburton yesterday, consisting chiefly of crossbred ewes and lambs. There was a good attendance, and an improved - tone ha the market. Fat crossbred ewes .brought up bo 12s lid and 13s, crossbred webhers 14s 6d to 16s 3d, fat merino ewes 6s 6d, iat merino wethers up to 8s 9d and lis, stores 4s 9d to 5s lid, good freezers 14s id, 14s lOd, 15s 3d and 16s, lambs 8s 9d, lis and llssd.
