Civil Cases.—Haydon v Lincoln Road Board, claim £20. Mr Haydon appeared on his own behalf, Mr Fisher for tho defen< dant Board. Plaintiff alleged that water* courses known as Dawson's creek and I branch of same, both being vested in the Board, whose duty it is to keep their clean, had during last year become so fou) as to Bend backwater into plaintiffs drain-*, and so overflow his land, whereby aome of his crops, consisting of wheat, potatoes cabbages, and mangolds, was damaged, iu4 for which he now sought to recover tht amount as above.
