BROADFIELD SCHOOL.

The annual distribution of prizes to the children attending the Broadfield school took place on Friday afternoon, and notwithstanding the threatening state of the weather there was a good attendance. The children were helped to a liberal supply of tea, cake and lollies in the school grounds, and a move was then made to the schoolroom, where the distribution of prizes took place. At its conclusion the Chairman, Mr S. Early, proposed a vote of thanks to the teachers (Mr and Mrs Dunnett) for the satisfactory report the school had again obtained this year. Cheers were then given for the teachers, the Committee, and the ladies.
