SENIOR CUP MATCHES

LANCASTER PARK v ADDINGTON. This match was brought to a conclusion at Hagley Park ou Saturday last, when the Lancastrians won by an innings and 43 runs. Turner, Smith, Forsyth, Yates, and Lusk were unable to play for Addington in consequence of having the influenza, and the Addiugton captain proposed to forfeit the match to their opponents,; but as the latter wanted a game substitutes were found to field, and the contest wa3 resumed about half an hour later than the usual time for making a start. The Lancaster Park Club's first innings was brought to a close for 185. which left Addington in a minority of 140 runs, but they only managed to make 97, and were thus beaten as above etated.
