The fire in the colliery at Kanfurling, in Wigan, has been. controlled, many of those entombed wero found iv a comatose state and have since recovered. The manager of the mine was believed to be dead, but on being placed in the mortuary he moved and sighed, and restoratives being used he was resuscitated. Miners from distant workings and explorers are thoroughly exhausted. A full list of the casualties is uncertain.
