ANNUAL MEETINGS.
The annual meetings of householders in tha various educational districts -were held last night at the different achoolhouses. Appended are the results of the elections of the Committees in the principal districts. EAST CHB2STCHUECH. Theto Tsaa a largo _fcis»_aace, Ms M. Saad«te_i» the CJliairajaa of i_te. Committee* occupying the chair. The annual "report was read, which stated inter a!i_ that tear® were 1157 : children on the roll of thsmaia school, 268 on that of PhUlipstowni and IS6 on that of the South belt. The reports ca the 'school had been highly satiamotory, and the Junior ITaiversity bcholarship m* for the present year was headed by Mr James Waddeii, a former pupil of the school. Th® school had gained daring the year one Board of Education scholarship, two Somes' do, and three exhibitions at th© Girls' High SchooL Thirteen were noraiHated for the nine vacancies, and the following were elected on the ballot:—Messrs J. R. Brunt, 6. S. Perry, J. Pentecost, J. S. Williams, M. Sandstein, F. Board, M. Murphy, J. T. Smith, and J. E. Fraser. Mr _L Sandstein was re-elected as Chairman of the Committee for the ensuing year.
