THE marvellously beautiful Opal Enlargements that have been given with every dozen Cabinets for' 15s to persons who -were fortunate enough to secure deposit tickets &t Christmas from the COMPANY, LIMITED, have created the greatest; Photographic sensation .that; has ever occurred In Chrlst-churcli, and the exhibition of 'so many of the executed orders in-the front entrance has caused hundreds of persons to regret the .non-purchasing of deposit tickets, and as we have received bo many pressing applications for deposit tickets, coupled with, of delight with the honest manner in which the work is prcdaced, being far and sway superior to any other Christcburch pro ductions, we have decided to issue a tarther 1000 DEPOSIT TICKETS, under the following conditions.— CONDITIONS OF 1000 ISSUE. The price cf each Deposit Ticket is 23 6d, 1 which ticket is available until 30th June, 1892, the balance, 12s 6d, to be paid at the time of sitting: for this you receive 12 beautifully enamelled Cabinets and one 15 by 12 Opal enlargement, while the only ! extras charged are Children under @ years 2s edsxtra, Groups 2s 6d each extra figure, but no more than 4 extras are charged for; thus, a group of five or over, coats 25s la all. . . We have received permission to publish the following letter, while we could publish many others containing flattering remarks of oar Opals, were it hoc for fear of. offending the delicacy of the writers:— "Gentlemen,—l duly received the opal and a dozen cabinets of myself, and I must congratulate you on the remarkable style and finish of your work. I candidly con-: fess that although in my capacity as master marines* I have travelled the world over, and have been photographed in the best studios, I have never had photos so uniformly brilliant as yours, while the opal is a charming piece of handiwork. It Is no longer astonishing to mc, ; the crowds that were at your atudio each time I called, as the price charged seems absurdly low for such artistic work.— yours, very truly, W. Gruzelier, Master of the barque Carnarvon Castle." We intend to open the sale for this 1000 deposit tickets on Monday, 14th March, and, in response to the request of Mr 33. Smith, the indefatigable Secretary of the Fire Brigade Demonstration, we have decided that deposit tickets will only be sold Ito Firemen for their own use during 1 Mond&y and Tuesday. As large Bombers of visiting Firemen will then be in Christchurch, it is expected that they will require 200 tickets. The Studio will be , opened at 10 a.ra. on the morning of Wednesday, March 16th, when the other 800 deposits tickets will be sold to the public. A ptreafe rush is expected, as from the large number of peraous applying for deposit tickets, it is anticipated that fully SOOO persons require them. Oa ao account will any more be issued./as this will exhaust the iargra stock of over 6300 Opals imported by Mr Eden George from Europe. , ,• " Wβ guarantee these Opals absolutely permanent, as we have adapted the old Dagoerrotypa system, whiehSwereportraita on glass, and many persona can testify i that these pictures are oftea nacnanged after thirty years. Bromide and other enlargements which are done oa page? a?e ! never permaaeiit, as the soda usedf in the I manufacture of the paper eats the picture 'up within a few years, accordiag to the dampness ife receives, while, on glass the picture is absolutely permanent, and, as a further proof, we are placing our same on the corner of each Opal, andife is xsnllkely that we, possessing | the larcest business in New Zealand, and bearfng"the most reliant name would risk | our reputation by the production of faulty Opals ©earing our signature. .__■ [ Persons at Lytteltoa and in- the country can send postal notes tor tickets, encios ing stamped aad addressed envelope for STl&lOS AT CHRISTCHUBCH ADN !
