The New Zealand Loan-and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable meaiage dated London, 9thinst. :—

Wool—Since the date of last telegram nearly all descriptions have declined |d per lb, except fine crawbred and lambs, for which the market is unonanged, and coarse crossbred, for which the market is easier. The American demand is good, bat wools of a faulty character are neglected. The total quantity catalogued to date is 164,000 bales, and the total quantity^withdrawn to date is 15,000 bales. Wheat—There is an improved feeling. Market is steady. Quotations unchanged since last telegram. -
