AUCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD.
(HU-S ASBOCIATIOJI JSLSmtUM.) AUCKLAND, January 14. - The cablegram from London stating that the Auckland Harbour Board bonds had fallen three per cent, is based on a misapprehension. As a matter of fact, the interest on the six per cent, bonds of 1874 wae paid in London on the 10th inst., and, usAuralfry, on the payment of the interest for the half-year the bonds would recede in price to the extent of the three per cent. paid. This occurs every naif-year upon all bonds upon which interest is paid periodically. Prices increase till the interest fe paid, and then drops by t&s amonat of the interest*
