Acting under instructions fromlus Excellency the Governor* Messrs ]?yne arid Co.. in conjunction with Mr Chas. Clack, offered at auction, without reserve, yesterday, his Excellency's wines, horses, carriage-*, and so forth. ▲ great many articles fetched good: values, while others for which there was a poor demand were sacrificed. There was a large attendance. The prices realised were as under :— Hiuemoa, chestnut mare, 15-2, with good action, a perfect: hack (leader), So'jkt-Mt Werry, Weliiugton. Roti. raa, dark chestnut Relding, 15-1, very fast aud showy (leader), $}&&— Mr Werry. WeHingtoo. Eileen, light chestnut mare,, 153, bred in Kangitikei district, aud regularly hunted there; & first-rate fencer (Wheelgi),' £30— Mr Werry.
