Some of the were thrown two and a half chains, one was hurt and the machinery was not damaged. Eye witnesses say the roof of the mill rose like an umbrella and broke up in the air. There were two sounds like the firing ot big pins, and it was thought a boiler had Ixploded. Women having relatives m the mm hurried to the scene dreading fatal accidents. The cyclone swept along and travelled off south-east, but no further damage is reported.
