Another "Picturesque Atlas" case waa heard to-day. The defendant asserted that he only signed a list of patrons, and that the signature on the order was not his. He pointed out several differences between tho way in which the name and address were written and his invariable practice. Plaintiffs were granted an adjournment on payment of costs, and will produce Metcalfe, the canvasser. It transpired that thirtysix numbers of the work, left on defendantverandah, were fished out of the stream iy the vicinity by children.
