Blowitz, the Paris correspondent of the London Times, that unless the Sultan concedes justice to the Cretans the Greek fleet will take the matter in their own hands. It is rumored that the contract foi the Russian loan provides for the transfer of £7,000,000 worth of gold from Paris to St. Petersburg by the end of the year. Constantinople, September 9. It is officially announced that the change of Ministry does not imply • change in the European policy Ol Turkey. Sir W. A. White, British Ambassador, demands that the Porte should apologise for firing on British merchant vessels passing the Dardanelles in Jalf lajt, and in the meantime deolines tc visit the Sultan's palace. Reoolred September 10th. 8 p.m. _ Constantinople, September 9. Kiamil Pasha's friendly polioj towards England is now given as thi real cause of his downfall. Ho is virttt ally a prisoner.
