TIME BALL, LYTTELTON.
The time ball is dropped daily, Sundays end holidays excepted, at 1 o clock p.m_, New Zealand mean time, which is equivalent to 13.30 Greenwich mean time ol the previous day, being calculated for the 172* 30/ East Longitude, and Uhr 30min fast of Greenwich mean time. In consequence of repairs being necessary to the machinery of the time ball, the Vali will not be raised for a few days.
