Mails close for the. following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations:— . WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3, For Otago, per Te Anau, at 1.45 p.m.; late fee lecters, 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. THURSDAY, JUNE 4. For Australian Colonies, and also for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Naples (specially addressed correspondence only), Point de "Galle, India. China, Japan, &c, per express (to connect with s.s. Te Anau) at 10.15 a.m.; late fee letters, 10.25 a.m.; guard's van on express, 11 a.m. Postage to the United Kingdom, 6d per „oz. For Kaikoura, per Kiwi, at 3 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Note.—On and after Saturday, June 6, the Money Order and Savings Bauk Office will bo open to tho public on Saturdays from 9 Am. to 1 p.m.; and for receipt o Savings Bank deposits only from 7 p.m. to &30 p.m.
