Jlhe weekly meeting of the Lincoln \ Mutual Improvement Society was held at tie Lincoln Library, on Wednesduy evening list. The Rev. J. F. Teakle, Yico-Pren. Ant, was in the chair, and there was a Urge attendance of members. Two capital Asaya were given by Messrs W. A. Banks aid J. Sinclair, which wore most instructive, »ie former having for his subject "A tripM jfiie North Island," which was well discussed f y all present. 1 The St. Asaph street Mutual Improve* fient Association Society held their usual meeting on Friday evening, the President ia lie chair.
