The defects developed in the trial of the Australian cruiser Tauranga have been remedied, and she has left for Australian waters. The cruisers Katoomba, Ringarooma and Tauranga, and the torpedo gunboat Boomerang, will be placed on the active Use on their arrival in the colony. BARINGS' ASSETS. OBITUARY. The death is announced of Sir Patrick M. Colquhoun, who was Chief Justice of the lonian Islauds until the secession of the Islands to Greece in 1864. He was 76 years of age.
