The Emperor William feels angry at the treatment received by the Empress Frederick during her recent visit to the French capital, and has expressed his indignation at the attitude the Parisians assumed toward her. In order to show the Emperor's feelings in the matter, General Yon Caprivi, the Imperial Chancellor, has ordered the mobilisation of three German army corps on the French frontier.
