[PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION. I Reoeived April, 6th ILIS sun. London, April 4. Tbe total quantity of wool catalogued up to date is 29,200 bales, of which 27,800 have been sold. The market continues firm, aud opening prices are being maintained. Tallow, medium mutton, 26s 6dbeef, 255. The English wheat market shows a general advance of Is. The Continental market also shows a general advance, while America has an upward tendency. Forward business in Australasian cargoes is firm, at an advance. The arrivals of foreign -wheat are small, and shipments off coast have not met with ready Bale. A New Zealand cargo of wheat per iron vessel, shipped iv March and April, has been sold at 395. Silver, 3s 8 11-16 d. Received April 7th, 1.20 a.m. Mblbotji-NB, April 6. Mr Hayter, Government Statist, estimates the Victorian wheat crop for the past season at 13,003,226 bushels.
