Bnataesa Notices. PHOTOGRAPHY THE COMPANY, LIMITED. Our 12 by 10 ENLARGEMENTS, beauti fully framed, complete, for 50s, are meeting with unqualified approval. Notk—These Enlargements can be made from any old and faded photo, taking one person out of a group if necessary. Tbe size of tbe Enlargement itself is 12 by 10, fche frame being much larger. NOTICE. __ attempt has lately been made to raise the prices of photographs, but owing to our opposition the attempt was unItfccessful. Our reply to the deputation was to the following effect:—l. That we were the last to reduce prices. — That there is still 50 per cent, profit on good work at our charges. 3. That by recent improvements photography has become so simple that it is now only, deserving of trade profits, and photographers are not justified in charging the public 300 to |00 per cent, profit as of old, when photography was a profession requiring years of Itudy.. - That at our present prices we are enabled to pay the best rent and salaries, besides the extra expenses accruing to a public company, and will be able to meet our shareholders with a substantial dividend at the close of our financial year. Some photographers, in order to ge larger prices, state that it is impossible to finish work at our charges, but we refer the public to the gigantic show of brilliantly finished photos in our vestibule, which are specimens of our every day work, and we challenge comparison with the photographs of Lord Onslow, Sir Wm. Jervois, Bishop Julius, J, L. Toole, Esq., and other well-known personages now on view at our entrance. We do by far the lareest business in New Zealand, and attribute our success to a constant production of elegantly posed and well-finished photos, and by not making extra charges to visitors from, the Country. We have one regular price, and tapply ONE DOZEN CABINETS, beautifully enamelled, taken and finished in any ityle or position, for 15s. MIDGET ALBUMS.
