[PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAM.] DUNEDIN, January 27. In the report of the Directors of the Westport Coal Company, it is stated that the profit and loss account, after deducting expenses, &c., shows a profit of £1102, which, with the balance of £7290 brought forward, makes a total to credit of £8392. The profit during the first six months of was satisfactory, and if the second had been equally satisfactory the Company would have paid a fair dividend, but the strike cost the Company fully J—o,ooo.
