OUTRAGES BY RAILWAY HANDS.
[Fill PRRBB ABSOCI—TIOS.3 Received January 27th, 10 a~u London, January 26. Farther outrages on the part of the railway hands on strike are reported, and those who were employed by the Caledonian Company have destroyed, by fire, a railway station at Gafderv bank, in Lanarkshire.
The North British Railway Company has obtained an order for the arrestment of £20,000 upon the funds of the Scotch Railway Servants' Society,
Received January 27th, —IS pJu. At a meeting in Edinburgh it waa determined to supply funds freely iv support of the strikers. A quantity of goods aod minerals lying uncovered at Calderbank Station were set on fire by the ignition of the stock of paraffin.
Mr Mathews promised a deputation of ship owners to provide police protection in order to prevent disturbances, and drafts of constables will be detailed immediately for duty..
The practice of co-operation among the dockers is growing. It is found that wages are higher and the work is got through more quickly.
